    Approximately one third of households contain Worthington children under 18 years, and these young residents are served by one of the best school districts in Ohio. Worthington School District maintains 11 elementary schools, five middle and three high schools. The district has earned the state rating of “excellent” for the past six years, students consistently score in 10% of the state testing range and over 90% of these students will continue post-secondary degrees. Together, these students earn millions of dollars in annual scholarships, and students log about 60,000 hours of community service per year. Schools have also gained national recognition for their outstanding efforts in the quality of teachers, classroom size and school programs. For parents who want an alternative to public schools, Worthington also offers five private schools, from kindergarten through high school.

    The city continues its strong commitment to education, with its public library, which has been maintained since the beginning of the city and is now one of the libraries in the state, holding nearly half a million books and periodicals and loan nearly 2 million items to cardholders each year.

    The city offers many services to cultivate the spirit and the bodies of its residents, and maintains over 200 acres of land across 13 public parks. Many of these parks have brick-paved walking and cycling in the historic city center and along the banks of the Scioto River.     Ohio is typically divided into five regions.

    The southwestern part of Ohio offers access to the Ohio River and all watersports activities that come with being near the water. The United States Air Force Museum in Dayton. The main cities in southwest Ohio include Cincinnati, Dayton and Springfield.

    Southeastern Ohio also borders the Ohio River, but is much more rural and is considered part of Appalachia. Some cities in this part of the state are Athens, Marietta, and Portsmouth.

    The central part of Texas is home to Columbus. There are many cultural events taking place in the capital of Ohio. Columbus is also home to Ohio State University.

    Northeast Ohio is home to Toledo and offers access to Lake Erie. Port Clinton is also here and is known as the “Walleye Capital of the world.” The city of Fostoria is known for his work in glass and ceramics.

    Northwest Ohio and Cleveland are a tourist mecca. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and once again, Lake Erie is a popular destination. A large Amish community also exists in this part of the state, and there are several amusement parks like Six Flags and Cedar Point well.

  5. Places to Visit in Ohio

    Ohio, a midwestern state in the United States, is a cultural and geographical crossroads in North America. In 1984, the U.S. Census Bureau classified Ohio as part of the Central Region of North America. The region was renamed “Midwest” and split into two divisions. Ohio became part of the East North Central States division. He became the first state admitted to the union under order of the Northwest.

    Ohio is a city rich in history. Visitors from Ohio consider the city as one of the most ideal places to explore. The Underground Railroad is one of the most visited spot. It has been an escape route for slaves in the past, therefore, also called A Passage to Freedom. Ohio also keeps with the times, with two major amusement parks – Cedar Point and Kings Island. These parks contribute greatly to tourism in Ohio.

    Cedar Point is located in Sandusky. He holds the record for having the most roller coasters, a total of 17! Four roller coaster rides are longer than 200 feet (61m). The Top Thrill Dragster roller coaster is the world’s second fastest and second highest. Cedar Point Park currently has 75 walks in all, holding more than one record for most walks. Among many exciting tours are side attractions as a white sand beach, water parks, marinas, hotels, and Challenge Park. No wonder this park is acclaimed the “Best Amusement Park in the World.”

    Kings Island in Mason City is located in Warren County, Ohio. The park is over 700 acres large, but only 364 acres is developed. This is the most visited seasonal theme park in the United States. Vacations in Ohio is not complete without stopping by the Lake Grande de Santa Maria, the Ohio Caverns and Castle Macochee. Ohio festivals and are celebrated with many activities. Try climbing the blarney stone or go fishing in the Salt Fork State Park in Cambridge. If you can not catch a fish, you at least begin to get the cool wind in calm lake. Hocking Hills State Park is the best place for hikers. The batch of adventurers will enjoy the setting of a ring neck snake, not common to other parks.

  6. Ohio Groveport Homes

Located about 15 minutes southeast of downtown Columbus, Groveport is a rapidly growing community, however, maintains a small town atmosphere of faith. The city was originally composed of two separate settlements: Wert Grove and Rarey’s Port. Where a merger was inevitable, and neither Rarey nor Wert was willing to adopt the name of the founder others, committed citizens and named the city Groveport. With a population of just over 5,000 residents, the economy Groveport was initially dependent on a brick factory, and when the plant closed in the early 20th century, the city experienced a period of population loss and economic depression. After the Second World War, however, pleasant ambience and proximity to Columbus Groveport helped spur further growth, and the city has been adding residents to the present day. The city still proudly maintains its historical center, while feeling attract industries and modern amenities.

    Groveport is also home to a number of locations and headquarters of international companies, including Air Stab Industries and Tahoma. A number of other companies maintain significant operations in the area too. Besides the strong backbone of the city economy, Groveport proudly offers a range of cultural opportunities for residents and visitors. The Groveport Cultural Art Center offers classes in a variety of art classes to students of all ages, most of which are free or charge only enough to cover the cost of supplies.

    The city also offers a number of sites hosting events as well as from a number of halls and meeting rooms at City Hall to Crooked Alley Kidspace Groveport, Groveport, where residents can book parties and events for their children, for free. Residents may also want to take advantage of the Groveport Heritage Museum, where visitors can learn about the history and origins Groveport, as well as the original story of 19th century Groveport native John Solomon Rarey, whose horse rehabilitation methods became the basis for the film “The Horse Whisperer.” The museum features a special section just for kids as well, with games and practical activities to stimulate young minds.

Founded in 1812, while boasting a population of just over 3500 residents, Columbus has since grown into a thriving city of more than 700,000 people. In fact, Columbus got a lot of superlatives in the last decade. In 2010 he was ranked as one of the ten best big cities in America by Relocate America.     Located at the confluence of the Scioto and Olentangy rivers, is the story of Columbus long before European colonization. The home of many of the great earthen burial mounds built by Native Americans, the area was first settled by Europeans in the late 1700s and Columbus was incorporated as a city in 1834, almost 20 years after assuming the duties of the state capital in 1816. In 1870, the predecessor of Ohio State University was founded, and OSU is currently one of the largest and most prestigious universities of the country public.
